Quite the ingénue, Turcotte was already teaching herself HTML/CSS as early as middle school. Realizing so young that she had a passion for web development, she went on to attain degree in Computer Graphics and New Media at Johnson & Wales University. Always looking to expand on her core skill set, Turcotte likes to be on the edge of new and relavant technologies, boasting a proficient knowledge of Drupal, PHP, and blogging platforms such as custom designed Tumblr pages.

Before joining the GLAD WORKS team, Turcotte’s gained valuable experience at Media Lantern, where she worked both as a front end developer and as a project manager. This dual role served her well, blended her straight-shooting web development know-how with great customer service skills. Moving on, Turcotte also served as a developer for New London, CT based marketing firm Quinn & Gellar, as well as SALE.com.

A self-proclaimed “nerd’s nerd,” Turcotte’s all-consuming love for computers still managed to leave some room for an intense passion for the arts. These two driving forces bring a unique right brain/left brain approach to her work—engaging both her bubbling creative energy and her technical know-how. And that harmony makes her an ideal fit as web developer here at GLAD WORKS.
